- Design and formulation of capsule detergent products, incorporating new sustainable ingredients.
- Planning and executing your own day to day experimental work schedule, compliant with COSHH and GLP disciplines. leading communication with both internal and external partners to identify and screen new technologies
- Product characterisation studies including rheology, physical/sensory evaluations and storage stability tests where required. You will also work closely with colleagues in processing, consumer understanding and procurement.
- Driving our digital agenda; designing optimal experiments, structured data capture, modeling data, visualization
- Project management - Inputting into project networks and owning the key R&D activities.
- Technical education – Degree in related-scientific subjects
- Practical laboratory formulating experience, data interpretation & experimental design
- Strong teamwork & evidence of strategic thinking/planning
- Highly motivated with resourceful problem-solving skills/practical creativity
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Digitally-savvy
- Fast learner
- Fluent in English
- Experience in key digital software/languages e.g. JMP, SPSS, python, pipeline pilot, stata, minitab, javascript, R, SQL
- FMCG experience

We are looking for a homecare formulation expert to create the next generation of laundry capsules to help us deliver an exciting superiority & sustainability vision for capsules.
As an integral part of our laundry capsules global design center (GDC) you will get the chance to drive many aspects of the product development cycle, with the opportunity to work on both longer-term technology opportunities as well as fast-paced market-facing innovation projects.
